The only workaround at this time is to use the Creative Cloud desktop application to uninstall Premiere Pro CC 12.1 and reinstall version 12.0.1. The major bugs present in the CC2017 versions of Illustrator and InDesign running on High Sierra have been worked out between a macOS update and the latest CC apps, and I’ve noticed fairly significant speed gains in both those apps. As for Photoshop, I’ve not noticed much of an increase in speed, but no decrease either. Some of the cool features include the ability to add rules around paragraphs in InDesign without having to resort to crude workarounds is a God-send! And I’m happy to see Adobe add the ability to keep text in CC Libraries and have them available in both InDesign and Illustrator. Type fanatics can now use InDesign’s Character panel to search for fonts based on visual similarity, a nice feature that you would normally need Suitcase Fusion for—though Suitcase still works better because it will find fonts that aren’t activated. Illustrator users will love the speed increase the most, but the variable font feature is really, really cool. The new Properties Panel is fantastic for those with a smaller screen or people like me who just hate having a bunch of panels open all the time.

They do nothing to support it let alone upgrade it. I finally installed Parallels running Snow Leopard so that I could use it, but it is slow. Now I am having trouble with my PS CS5. It will only print on 8.5 x 11 size paper. I have NO choices at all when it comes to printing except to push the print button! Adobe is nothing but a greedy monster! So my query is this: I currently have Sierra running on a MacBook Air (not High Sierra) and CS3.
In other words, the time to download El Capitan was before Sierra came out, even if you were going to set aside the El Capitan installer for some time in the future. It’s probably worth contacting Apple to find out if there is a way for you to still get El Capitan, but you may have to commit to Sierra now. But since Sierra just came out, it’s probably best to sit back and wait to hear about other CS6 users’ experiences on Sierra. I installed Sierra early today, and since then I struggle almost with everything.
Illustrator CS5 may crash on quit; this problem also existed in El Capitan so try the solution offered at the Adobe forums (), specifically the part about renaming /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5.5ServiceManager to /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5.5ServiceManager.bak Registration servers, update servers, and activation servers. If you get a message saying that a registration or update server is not available in an old Adobe application, that won’t stop the application itself from working so it’s not much of a concern. A missing activation server may keep an application in trial mode, but I had no problems maintaining activation in the Adobe CS3 through CS6 applications I tried.
